Margarita #23
Posted in : Agave Syrup, Cocktails, Cointreau, Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, Tequila on by : Nick Hancock
This Margarita introduces lemon juice next to the traditional lime juice. One type of mix that you usually do not do in cocktails. I will let you decide. I found them unexpectedly delicious. If it is too sour, up the agave syrup.
| 2 oz | 60 ml | Calle 23 Tequila Blanco |
| ¾ oz | 22.5 ml | Cointreau |
| ½ oz | 15 ml | Fresh lime juice (~1/2 lime) |
| ½ oz | 15 ml | Fresh lemon juice (~1/2 lemon) |
| ¼ oz | 7.5 ml | Agave Syrup |
Optionally, rim the lip of the glass with salt. Shake the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and simple syrup together in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Strain the mix into a Margarita glass filled with cracked ice.
